Raw Biochar — 50% Wood / 50% Poultry-Manure
Balanced feedstock for agronomic performance and carbon value. Produced from an equal blend of woody biomass and poultry-manure inputs.
- Applications: field soil improvement, tree pits, large-scale restoration.
- Specs: porous structure; alkaline to neutral pH; durable carbon fraction; screened to horticultural sizes.
Wood-Based Biochar
Biochar produced from woody biomass only. Lower nutrient content with a focus on stable carbon and high porosity.
- Applications: water-use efficiency, sandy-soil conditioning, compost blending.
- Specs: high surface area; generally higher C%; low ash.
Poultry-Manure Biochar
Nutrient-rich biochar derived solely from poultry-manure feedstock and carefully processed.
- Applications: compost enrichment, nursery substrates (with proper blending), soil fertility programs.
- Specs: higher ash and nutrient content; agronomic buffering capacity.
Blended Biochar in Soil Mixes
Ready to blend into sandy soils or compost at recommended rates. Example: soil mixes targeting ~30% raw biochar within the biochar-compost component.
- Applications: nursery and greenhouse mixes, tree planting media, desert rehabilitation plots.
- Specs: screened fractions for horticulture; moisture-optimized; compatible with compost and sands.
Wood Vinegar (Pyroligneous Acid)
Jwain wood vinegar is a liquid co-product of our biochar process. When properly diluted, it can be used as a complementary input in fertility and plant-health programs.
- Applications: soil and compost programs, nursery and landscape management (with appropriate dilution and agronomic guidance).
- Specs: produced from clean woody feedstocks; organic-acid rich fraction of the pyrolysis vapors.
